Epidemiology
Physiology
- Pulmonary hypertension due to ingestion of rapeseed oil contaminated by aniline/acetanilide dyes
Diagnosis
- Open Lung Biopsy: medial hypertrophy, intimal proliferation of small pulmonary arteries: early signs of plexogenic arteriopathy
- Resembles pulmonary veno-occlusive disease (except involves arteries + veins)
