Etiology
- Bronchiectasis
- Thermal injury
- Foreign body
Pathogenesis
- Benign endobronchial tumor that occurs due to chronic irritation
Diagnosis
- FOB: usually a solitary polypoid mass of exuberant granulation tissue
Clinical
- Airway Obstruction (see [[Obstructive Lung Disease]]): atelectasis/post-obstructive pneumonia
Treatment
- Bronchoscopic removal
- Antibiotics: as needed
