Physiology
- Benign lung neoplasm
- Parenchymal, endobronchial, or pleural endometrial tissue deposits
Diagnosis
- FOB: may occur endobronchially
- CXR/Chest CT Pattern: solitary lung nodule
- Pleural space involvement is more common than parenchymal involvement: leads to catamenial hemothorax or pneumothorax
