Clinical

  • Pathology: immature embryonic epithelial elements forming tubules/glands and primitive lung structures surrounded by malignant-appearing mesenchymal stroma

Treatment

• Surgical resection: usually provides diagnosis
  • Usually curative, although late relapses/ metastases can occur ( which are not usually curable)
• XRT: palliative
• Chemo: use not defined
